Rubber seal is a kind of general extrusion components in the sealing device, because rubber has

valuable elastic polymer materials, a wide temperature range, in different media to give less stress,

will produce greater deformation, this deformation can provide contact pressure, compensation leakage clearance,

to achieve the purpose of sealing.In addition to high air tightness, rubber products used in the vacuum system should

have low air leakage rate, small rise, excellent heat and cold resistance.The leakage rate of rubber in vacuum

depends on the sealing performance of rubber parts.Sealing performance is related to compression deformation

and aging resistance of vulcanized rubber.Vulcanized rubber in vacuum can produce the volatilization of the inner gas,

and the volatilization of the low molecular substances in the polymer. Under the pressure of high vacuum, these low molecular

volatile substances will sublimate, which will cause the change of seal performance.At the same time can also increase

the permeability of the seal.The manufacturing of vacuum seals should be based on the basic premise of small air

permeability and small sublimation amount.

 

Fluoroelastomer (fluoroelastomer) has low air permeability, excellent high temperature resistance, excellent aging resistance,

chemical resistance to many chemicals, generally up to working pressure of 1.10-8hPa, suitable for most vacuum applications

of sealing materials.
